    This culinary experience workshop assembles a creative team of culinary artists, for whom bringing pleasure is a
    form of art.

      Cold vegetable marrow soup with smoked catfish - MÁD-Hárslevelű (Szt. Tamás)
    • Main course: 
      Chicken breast supreme, goat cheese strudel with chervil and oyster mushroom - MÁD-Furmint (Szt. Tamás)

Első Mádi Borház is the main entry point to the foothills of Tokaj providing professional yet personal services.
This place gathers and presents the most delicios wines from the area and invites guests on a special culinary
experience.

Adventurous excursion in the wine yard of Mád
Gusteau Culinary Experience Workshop and Szent Tamás Winery invite their guests to taste the wine of
Szent Tamás. The excursion takes us to the most beautiful and oldest vineyards of Mád, where after a
professional presentation our guests taste the best of the Szent Tamás winery in an authentic atmosphere.
Picnic baskets are provided, stocked with ham and cheese specialities of Mád, baguette, mineral water
and a selection of Szent Tamás wines. Our guests are can enjoy the contents of the baskets at the
peak of the Szent Tamás hill in stunning surroundings with a view over Mád and its vineyards. Five-stop
presentation of 5 different Szent Tamás wines, staged over a three-hour excursion in the vineyards of Mád.

  • Dinner: Barbecue in ’Nőtelen’ wineyard

At the end of our adventurous excursion our guests can have a rest at ’Nőtelen’ house, and enjoy the
peace and quiet of the evening. They can savour their dinner amongst the vines while enjoying
the wine Of Szent Tamás.

    • Pork with mustard, rosemary potatoes with fresh mixed lettuce
    • Fruit pannacotta
      Accompanying these delicious dishes we recommend the wine of the Szt.Tamás Winery

 

Saturday

  • 09:30: meeting at the reception, departure for Mád
  • 10.00: breakfast at Első Mádi Borház - Terroir breakfast

    We serve the latest produce of Terroir selection: dried apricot chutney, red onion jam, chilli jam, pork rillettes
    and venison pate with baguette and mineral water, coffee and tea.

    The terroir method of winemaking has a long tradition in this area . Wine makers use this French expression
    to describe the unique and unmistakable characteristics of the wine, based on the natural attributes of
    a given area. Now it is time to present the uniqueness of this region through its gastronomy with some special
    produce from the neighbourhood of Mád. The mission of Terroir products is to popularise the ingredients
    and products connected to Mád.
  • 11.00: Excursion to Sárospatak

On Saturday morning we offer an excursion to Sárospatak to visit the medieval Rákóczi castle. During the
excursion our guests can taste some Tokaj wines (Árvay Angelika, Demeter Endre, Kardos Gábor).
Our guests are taken to the castle by coach.
We provide ciabatta or baguette sandwiches with ham and cheese, and mineral water

  • Afternoon programme: free activities, relaxation, wellness activities at Andrássy Residency
  • 19.00: Happy Hungarian Wine -  wine dinner

The Gusteau Culinary Experience Workshop invites our guests to a special wine dinner. The speciality of this
evening is that the chef of Gusteau is creating dishes especially to complement the Happy Hungarian Wines.

  • Menu:
    • Cold starter: catfish duo with cucumber and lemon mousse - Móri Ezerjó
    • Hot starter I: veal cannelloni with tomatoes -  Laposa Rizling selection
    • Hot starter II: boar stew Tuscany style with home made pasta - Vesztergombi Kadarka
    • Main course : duck breast with blueberry and mushroom stew with Robuchone puree -  Kiss Gábor Code
    • Dessert: ’aranygaluska’ with apricot sorbet - Szent Tamás Király Késői Szüret

 

Sunday: 

  • meeting at the reception, departure for Mád (depending on flight departures)
  • 10.00: breakfast at Első Mádi Borház - 'Terroir and ’Hegyközi’ breakfast

On Sunday morning we serve some products of Terroir Selection and ’Hegyközi Manufaktúra’
(apricot, plum, sour cherry, strawberry jam), yoghurt of Mád, biscuits at Első Mádi Borház.

  • 12.00: departure for Budapest Airport by coach
